The Delaware Federation of Garden Clubs (DFGC) approached Blue Blaze for assistance to raise funds and public awareness for a very special project – the design and installation of a private therapeutic garden at Dover Air Force Base, site of the nation’s largest military mortuary.

Blue Blaze quickly set to work with the DFGC’s appointed committee to develop branding and a national fundraising campaign powered by a public relations strategy with press conferences and special events.

Through the generous response of more than 70 state garden clubs and hundreds of individual donors, the fundraising goal was exceeded and the garden was successfully installed.

The branding went on to receive a Gold Award in the Hermes National Creative Awards competition.
